Punchbowl News: Budzinski eyes New Dems chair

Punchbowl just came out with a story highlighting the fundraising success this campaign has had – and we’re just getting started.

"Budzinski raised more than $2.5 million for the DCCC this cycle. She's raised or given $700,000 directly to Frontliners and Red to Blue candidates backed by the New Dems. Two of those Frontliners, Reps. Kristen McDonald Rivet (D-Mich.) and Susie Lee (D-NV.) are backing her bid."

As Vice Chair of Policy for New Dems, I’ve been meeting with folks, on the ground, to hear their stories and struggles. The truth is this – the Trump Administration is making life harder – prices at the gas pump and grocery store are soaring, healthcare is being stripped away in favor of tax breaks for billionaires, and the middle class is being left behind. I want to help lead us down a new path with a new vision – one that puts working families first.
