I'll be short and to the point with this email. Tonight at midnight is a big deadline for my campaign. You see, the funds I'm raising today will all be directed to the cost of getting our first television ad on the air. There are lots of expenses in a campaign and television ads are by far the costliest-- but they are also one of the most important ways to get a message out to tens of thousands of voters!
 
My opponent is being supported by a far left group funded by DC and California liberals and they have a lot of money. To combat their efforts, my team is preparing an ad that will start to let folks know what my opponent really believes and what he would do if he were elected.

From many years of coaching, I knew that if one of my wrestlers got taken down early in the match, it would be that much harder for him to fight back, regain control, and defeat his opponent. It's the same situation in my race. We need to let the voters know who my opponent really is, get control of this match, and defeat him!
