Voting for the August 4th primary election is in full swing, Team.

If you plan to vote early, you can find your early vote center here. Locations and hours vary, so check before you head out the door! Every Michigan voter has the option to cast their ballot in person before Election Day.

If you already have your absentee ballot, make sure you complete it and return it ASAP! We recommend returning your ballot in person. You can return it to your local clerk’s office or drop it in a secure drop box.

Depending on where you live, you may be able to feed your completed ballot into a vote tabulator at your early vote center, so be sure to check to see if you have that option! Your clerk's office must receive your ballot by 8pm on Primary Election Day, Tuesday, August 4th*. Find your local clerk’s office and drop box locations here.

If you plan to vote in person on Election Day and you are registered to vote at the address where you currently live, you must vote at your polling place! You can find your polling place here. Polls are open from 7am-8pm local time.

If you still need to register to vote or update your voter registration, you can do so at your local clerk’s office with proof of residency until 8pm on August 4th. Find your local clerk’s office here.

*If you’re serving in the military or living overseas, your ballot must be postmarked by Election Day (August 4th) and received by Monday, August 10th to count.
