I have big news to share with you, friend:

Tomorrow is our first-ever Day of Giving at Humane World Action Fund, formerly Humane Society Legislative Fund. And right now, a generous supporter will MATCH your lifesaving donation, up to $50,000—but only until midnight tomorrow.

That means this is one of the most important opportunities of the entire year to help fuel our fight for political and policy changes that tackle the root causes of animal cruelty and suffering. So please, can we count on you to double your impact now?

Make your Day of Giving gift of $20 or more to Humane World Action Fund and have it DOUBLED toward saving animals’ lives.

This first Day of Giving could not have come at a more urgent time—because the threats facing animals only continue to grow. Dogs are locked away to suffer in puppy mills. Wildlife species are targeted by trophy hunters. There is large-scale suffering of animals in factory farms.

The need for strong, decisive action has never been greater.

But in just a few months, millions of Americans will cast their ballots in the pivotal midterm elections. This is our opportunity to elect candidates who will ensure animal protection is a top priority.

By making your first gift to Humane World Action Fund in honor of our Day of Giving, your support will go twice as far toward helping us protect animals as we push for the protections they deserve and advance critical, bipartisan legislative and policy goals like:

* Fighting back against the Trump administration’s attack on the Endangered Species Act by putting them on notice that we will sue if they do not rescind their reckless rule gutting the ESA.

* Advancing the Better Collaboration, Accountability and Regulatory Enforcement (CARE) for Animals Act to strengthen the powers of the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Agriculture to address serious violations of the Animal Welfare Act.

* Defending state farm animal welfare laws, like California's Proposition 12, from attack by a segment of the pork industry that refuses to give up the cruel confinement of pigs for more humane options.

Protections like these are absolute necessities—because animals can’t wait a day longer for change, especially given these recent attacks. So please, make your Day of Giving donation today to have it DOUBLED toward helping us elect humane candidates to office and strengthening our work to stop animal cruelty at its root.

Thank you so much for your support.

P.S. Any funds raised over $50,000 will not be matched, but every dollar still helps Humane World Action Fund pass critical animal protection legislation and advance our work to end animal cruelty everywhere.
