Brown: USAF Risks 'Losing a High-End Fight'
New Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr., in his first “strategic approach” message to the service, warns that new thinking in areas such as acquisition, training, and deployments, is needed to better prepare for a future fight against a high-end threat from Russia or China. “If we don’t change—if we fail to adapt—we risk losing the certainty with which we have defended our national interests for decades. We risk losing a high-end fight. We risk losing quality Airmen, our credibility, and our ability to secure our future,” Brown writes. Read more
