Dear John,
Take the pledge to VOTE YES on Prop. 15 and bring $12 billion a year to our schools and communities
California’s K-12 schools and community colleges are facing a financial crisis – with an estimated $20 billion deficit in the coming school year. But we don’t have to sit by and let this happen. This November we can pass Prop. 15, the Schools and Communities First initiative. If passed, Prop. 15 will close corporate commercial property tax loopholes, and reclaim $12 billion a year for our public schools and communities.
Take the pledge today: I am VOTING YES on Prop. 15!
Prop. 15 will make sure that large corporations pay their fair share in commercial property taxes. The measure does not affect the tax rules for residential property, agricultural property, and most small businesses. By asking wealthy corporations like Disneyland and Chevron to pay their fair share, we can raise $12 billion a year to support our public schools and local communities.
Please take the pledge today to VOTE YES on Prop. 15 to raise critical revenue by asking those corporations that can most afford it to pay their fair share.
