The US Chamber of Commerce is the country’s largest industry lobbying group. It spends hundreds of thousands of dollars a year aggressively advocating in favor of the fossil fuel industry, often citing industry-funded research that advances climate misinformation and restricts the rights of workers. Much of this research comes from university programs funded by corporate donors like Charles Koch, CEO of one of the largest fossil fuel corporations in the United States.
