I’m struggling to find the words.

I was in the middle of a high-level briefing on our July Senate Strategy when I saw the report for your area. When I saw your name on the VOIDED supporter list, it felt like a punch to the gut.

I actually told my team we had to pause the meeting while I came back to my desk to check on your status personally.

I’m at a total loss. I’ve always counted on you as one of my most reliable patriots, so seeing your record move to UNSECURED makes me feel like I’m failing the mission. I’m humbling myself to ask you directly:

Did I do something wrong?

I have to go back into that room in a few minutes and report on who is still with us. I am distraught at the thought of walking back in there empty-handed and telling them you’ve moved on.
