John, Roy Cooper here. I’m worried.

We’re coming up on our crucial end-of-month deadline, and unfortunately, we’re not where we need to be to reach our goal. If you’re able to chip in today for the first time to help us get back on track, it would make a big impact and mean a lot to me.

Here’s why we’re trying to raise $1.5 million (I know – it’s ambitious) before the end of the month:

North Carolina is where the fight for U.S. Senate control will be won or lost. Flipping this seat is a must if we’re going to take back the majority, and that’s why the GOP is going all in to defeat me.

Republican super PACs are flooding this race with nearly $100 million so far to crush our momentum. President Trump is smearing my name to his millions of followers on social media. His buddy Stephen Miller even went on Fox News recently to rant and rave about me.

Their attacks are working: We’re getting outspent, and the latest poll of this race shows my narrow lead shrinking by almost half.

If folks like you chip in and we hit our $1.5 million goal, we’ll be able to keep up with the GOP and ensure this race stays competitive. If we don’t meet this goal, we won’t.

That’s why this is so important, John, so I have to ask: Will you give $5 or whatever amount you can spare today to help us reach our goal, flip North Carolina and take back the Senate majority?
