Hey John — Governor Whitmer here with an important request.

We’re just three days away from our end-of-month fundraising deadline, and this is a big one.

Why? Because what we do right now determines what we’re able to build in the months ahead, and with one week until Michigan's primary election, we're doing everything we can to turn out voters.

Michigan is at the heart of the national political fight this year. We’ll be electing a new governor, a U.S. senator, and leaders up and down the ballot. The outcome in our state could determine control of Congress and the future of key policies on abortion rights, workers’ rights, and more.

This grassroots team has powered early investments in key races, trained new candidates and campaign staff, and helped elect leaders who are delivering for their communities. But now we need to do even more — because the GOP knows Michigan is one of their best opportunities to win.

If we fall short of our goal, we could be outspent by Republican megadonors who want to flip the state red and elect extremists who will gut the progress we’ve made.
