Friend -- last week marked the 57th anniversary of the March On Washington.
It’s clear: institutional racism is still pervasive in American society -- in our police departments, schools, justice system - everywhere.
March On has been marching and organizing with Black Lives Matter and Black leadership this year and is committed to continuing the fight for racial justice.
Listen -- we have a long way to go.
Our nation and our way of life are dependent on the principle of all people being equal under the law.
And let’s be clear -- Trump and the Republicans care about nothing but spreading their racist rhetoric and appealing to their voter base. The effects of the criminal justice system are not color blind.
