Planners set time for U.S. Regional Conference

The United Methodist Church’s first-ever U.S. Regional Conference is now set to take place in spring 2029. The Regional Conference is the Church’s newest permanent decision-making body that adapts the portions of the Book of Discipline open to regional adaptation for the U.S. missional context.

Rev. Kim Jenne Elected Chair of the Interim Committee on Organization for the U.S. Regional Conference (I-ROC)

Rev. Kim Jenne, Director of Connectional Ministries and Assistant to the Bishop, has been elected chair of I-ROC, which is the temporary planning body appointed by the Council of Bishops in March 2026 to organize the first gathering of the U.S. Regional Conference.
