Hi, it’s Dan Osborn, the Independent candidate running to defeat Republican Billionaire Pete Ricketts for U.S. Senate in Nebraska.

I’m going to level with you.

My team and I are sitting down right now to make tough calls about this campaign that could decide whether we win or lose.

→ How many people can we afford to put on the ground?
→ How many doors can we knock?
→ How loud can we make our message when we’re up against someone with unlimited money?

Because here’s what I’m up against: My opponent is a billionaire. I’m not.

I don’t have a pile of cash to fall back on. I don’t have corporate PACs waiting in line to bail me out. What I’ve got is a campaign built the hard way — by regular people chipping in what they can.

And right now, we’ve got gaps to close. If we don’t start raising more money, we’ll have to make tough decisions about which outreach programs to keep and which to cut.

So I’m asking straight up: Can you pitch in $10 or whatever you can right now to Colin Allred's campaign and my campaign so we can keep building this campaign?

Every dollar we raise goes directly into reaching more people — more conversations, more momentum, more chances to prove that this race doesn’t belong to the highest bidder.

I won’t pretend this part is fun. Asking for money never is.

But I believe in what we’re building here. And I believe that if enough regular folks step up, we can beat someone who thinks this seat can be bought.
