One of our campaign values as staffers on Colin’s team is transparency, and we carry that value with us when we engage with our grassroots network; after all, you deserve to know where we are in our race and how you can help.
So I’m letting you know the following:
As you know, Colin is facing a tough re-election, especially with the special interests circling this race. That’s why we initially set our August fundraising goal so ambitiously -- it’ll allow us to lay the groundwork for an aggressive counter strategy that will strengthen our coalition, bring in new voters and get our message to as many people as possible.
We’re likely on track to meet that goal -- but our rate of growth is a bit slower than what would make me comfortable, and I need your help to get us to where we need to be.
