There’s an important congressional campaign with a primary in a week that needs your support: Will Lawrence in Michigan’s 7th district.
Will is a champion in the fight against climate change and to make housing more affordable. His primary election is on August 4th, and he’s counting on grassroots supporters like you to help him win.
Will was a founder of the Sunrise Movement, an organization that pushes for action on climate change across the country. They helped pass the largest green jobs program in U.S. history and delivered hundreds of millions of dollars for our communities.
But Will didn’t stop there. He founded the Michigan Rent Is Too Damn High Coalition to work on solutions to our housing crisis and make sure everyday people can actually afford a place to live.
Will is a proven leader on the issues that matter most to us, and exactly the type of voice we need in Washington.
Best of all, he doesn’t take a dime from corporate PACs because he’s focused entirely on delivering for working families.
In a system where corporations buy off politicians to help their bottom line, we need more brave leaders like Will to stand up and prove that we can win on climate, housing, and lowering costs without their influence.
