The Washington Post reports that 21 states are set to sue the U.S. Postal Service and its Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy, over the destructive changes they claim will interfere with their ability to hold free and fair elections this fall.

The changes DeJoy has made so far include eliminating overtime and ordering carriers to leave mail behind if it threatens to delay their route.

That last change is an especially huge problem -- and could stop medicine, census documents, and mail ballots from being delivered on time. DeJoy has said the changes have been paused until after the election, but the damage has already been done.

We refuse to allow Trump and his allies to keep destroying this vital agency, and we won't allow them to tamper with the election. But right now, that's exactly what they're doing.
