During his Senate hearing, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy responded to the accusation that he is sabotaging the Postal Service to keep people from voting in the upcoming election, saying it’s “quite frankly outrageous.”

It certainly is! But have Trump and his cronies ever shied away from doing the most outrageous, egregious, and dangerous things to achieve their sinister goals?

Trump has said outright that he doesn’t want mail-in voting and is willing to defund the USPS to get his wish. And he doesn’t care if people are disenfranchised, deprived of critical medications, or prevented from receiving paychecks and other important documents in the process.

We can’t let this disaster go on a minute longer! Sign our petition and demand that DeJoy take immediate action to reverse the tremendous damage he’s done to the Postal Service.

The Los Angeles Times recently reported that USPS workers in California are finding crates of undelivered mail, sorting machines disabled and padlocked, and containers of rotted fruit and meat being swarmed by gnats and rodents. One discovered boxes of dead baby chicks.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg as people and businesses throughout the country are sounding the alarm bells about missing mail and packages and serious delivery disruptions.

And what is the Republican response? Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin suggested during DeJoy’s hearing that all the complaints are “manufactured,” and the “Democrats are ginning these issues and these problems up into something they are not.”

The GOP has consistently remained silent when the Trump administration attacks our democracy, destroys our institutions, and harms the American people. But we won’t!
