Educating and connecting with voters on important issues.

Our communities are facing an unprecedented crisis, as Illinois' 6th Congressional District has been ranked as having some of the most fentanyl-related deaths in recent studies. This alarming reality requires immediate and decisive action to address the devastating toll it is taking on our families. We must prioritize measures that will protect the district’s children from the "deadly grasp" of a drug that is currently killing our community members.

To combat this epidemic, my goal in Congress is to implement stronger penalties for fentanyl crimes and create task forces to target the source of illicit drugs. By aggressively pursuing the criminal networks responsible for bringing these dangerous substances into our state, we can cut off the supply at its roots and hold the perpetrators accountable. We cannot afford to wait while this crisis escalates; it is time to secure our district and ensure a safer future for all Illinoisans.

The Radical Socialist Threat to the 6th District

Recently, a former Clinton official sounded the alarm in the news, warning that a "radical" socialist takeover will "destroy" the Democratic Party if it is left unchecked. According to the article, far-left movements like the Democratic Socialists of America are attempting to use the party as a vehicle to launch their radical platform nationwide.

This far-left shift is not just a national issue—it is actively harming families right here in Illinois' 6th Congressional District. Incumbent Democrat Sean Casten recently voted against a measure that would have condemned socialism. Instead of focusing on policies that benefit the hardworking people of the 6th District, Congressman Casten is more concerned with messaging and satisfying the more radical elements of his party.

The economic consequences of this radical agenda are devastating. Casten pushes for increased spending on nonessential programs that benefit people in foreign countries, while forgetting about hardworking American families. Because of his failures in reining in wasteful spending, Casten has earned the "Big Spender" designation from the National Taxpayers Union. This unchecked borrowing adds to the national debt to pay for the Left's radical spending, placing an enormous and unsustainable burden on our children and grandchildren.

Niki Conforti is running for Congress because we need to curb this reckless spending and stop tax increases on working families. When elected, she will take direct action to address this crisis by:

* 1. Implementing Spending Caps: Niki will push for spending caps to limit the amount we add to the national debt in order to pay for the Left's radical spending.
* 2. Stopping Tax Hikes: More spending inevitably leads to more taxes. Niki will work to curb the spending in Washington, D.C. and stop tax increases on working families.
* 3. Holding the Line on the Debt Ceiling: Niki is opposed to raising the Debt Ceiling, and she will push to curb spending and limit the debt we incur as a Nation.

We cannot tax and spend our way to prosperity. It is time for sensible solutions that protect your wallet and secure our nation's financial future.
