Happy Labor Day, team!

To me, today isn't just a day off. It's a day to celebrate hard-working Americans, and the victories won by organized labor and the labor movement.

It's only thanks to them that we have so many of the worker protections that we benefit from today -- Social Security, the minimum wage, pensions, child labor laws, the right to collectively bargain, and even weekends.

Our working families deserve these protections and more; there is dignity in labor, and that's why I've always stood with unions and workers in Congress, and at home in Colorado. Laborers are the backbone and foundation of our country, and I will always advocate for working families in Congress.

Enjoy your time with your loved ones today, get outside if you can, and remember to be thankful to the workers who came before us.
