We deserve a representative who will say plainly that reckless spending on an endless war is a choice, and that we could be choosing Idaho instead. [link removed] [[link removed]]
Hey John,
Last week the Pentagon went to Capitol Hill and asked Congress for another $67 billion for the war with Iran.
Senators asked what the plan was. Asked how it ends.
Nobody could answer.
This is not what I run on . I run on affordability . Groceries , rent , child care , the cost of being alive in Idaho right now . That is what people tell me at their doors.
But I cannot look at $67 billion in bombs and pretend it has nothing to do with any of that. That money is real. It exists. It is just going somewhere else.
I want it brought home. Not spent overseas with no plan and no exit, but put back into the things that would actually take pressure off working families here.

I also want our troops home. Idaho airmen out of Gowen Field have been in that region since spring. There are families in Boise and Nampa waiting on phone calls, and right now there is no honest answer about when this ends or what winning even means.
Here is what Russ Fulcher told Idaho back in March: nobody has an appetite for a forever war, we need to get this job done, and he thought it would be sooner rather than later.
That was four months ago. It has only gotten bigger since. And he has been quiet.
We deserve a representative who will say plainly that reckless spending on an endless war is a choice, and that we could be choosing Idaho instead.
Onward,
Kaylee
