We have some big work ahead, and recent votes we've taken in the House has proved again why we need committed, dedicated leadership -- especially when people like Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in the Senate and Donald Trump in the White House are content to do nothing.

That's never been my style. I'll keep fighting to reach across the aisle and bring everyone to the table, to find solutions that work for all Americans, and lift all of us up. Donald Trump and his GOP allies will instead look for ways to divide, enrich themselves, and win at all costs -- leaving most Americans behind.

That has made me a target. Donald Trump has already been to Minnesota once this month, and because Minnesota is one of THE battleground states this year, you can bet he'll be back. Late last week, Jared Kushner gave an interview to Politico where he pointed specifically to Minnesota as a state that has moved "more and more toward the president" and one they're adamant on winning this November.

More and more eyes will focus on this state and this district. That's why we have to be prepared.
