We’re closing the books on our August deadline at midnight. Before I ask you to chip in, let me share a bit about why your donation today matters so much for our campaign.

Our opponent just started running false, negative ads about Lucy all across the district. Any day now, the far-right Congressional Leadership Fund could begin spending the millions of dollars they’ve reserved for negative TV ads against us.

We’re doing everything we can to fight back, but we cannot do it alone. That’s why we’ve set a major goal for this deadline: 10,000 donations. It’s what we need to make sure we stay on track to counter all of the spending that’s coming our way.

Right now, we’re still short of that goal, but if you can get a contribution in today, then I think we can get there. What do you say?
