Dear john, Last week, an updated report revealed that Americans have now paid a jaw-dropping $56.4 billion more for gasoline since the start of the Iran war. This comes as recent polling finds that only 28% of Americans approve of President Trump’s war with Iran, making it the most unpopular war in U.S. history. Two-thirds of the American public want an immediate end to the war. Donald Trump wants Congress to provide nearly $100 billion in NEW funding for his unauthorized war with Iran. This is in addition to the $1.5 trillion defense budget the Trump Administration already requested. While President Trump’s policies continue to cause skyrocketing prices for working Americans, my colleagues and I are focused on putting YOU first, passing landmark housing legislation and forcing votes to end the war and extend healthcare tax credits.  Our public officials should work to make your lives better, not bankroll foreign wars ahead of working families here at home.
