I’ve spent a long time watching and participating in politics in New England, and one thing I know for sure is that the toughest races are often the most important ones.
That’s exactly the kind of race Chris Pappas is running in New Hampshire.
Chris represents one of the most competitive districts in the country – he’s won it four times by doing what strong leaders do: showing up, listening to voters, and focusing on the issues that matter most to working families.
I also feel a personal connection to Chris. Like me, he’s a proud Greek American who grew up in a family that believed in hard work and public service. Those values are deeply reflected in how Chris approaches his work in Congress.
But anyone who follows politics knows that seats like this are always a top target for Republicans.
