I'm ready for the fight ahead, and I'm all in to run for the United States Senate.
Darline for Senate
Sponsored Message
Friend,
After the sudden death of my brother, Lindsey Graham, I was appointed by Governor Henry McMaster to represent South Carolina in the United States Senate.
President Trump encouraged me to consider running in the Special Election by saying, "Run, Darline, Run!" Now, with the President's "Complete and Total Endorsement," I'm running to represent South Carolina for a full term in the United States Senate.
I've spent a lot of time talking and praying with my family. This was not a decision I made lightly. I know it will be difficult, but I am ready.
I know what Lindsey cared about, and we shared the same conservative values. He cared deeply about the people of South Carolina. With what I learned from Lindsey and my nearly 30 years of helping people of the state find dignity through work, I am ready to take on this next challenge.
It's time for me to step up for South Carolina, just like Lindsey stepped up for me when our parents died. I've learned God often calls on ordinary people to do extraordinary things in the most challenging of times.
I am not Lindsey. I have my own way of doing things. But we were raised with the same values: work hard each day, trust in the Lord, remember your roots, and never forget who you work for.
I did not seek this moment, Friend.
But after many prayers and speaking with my family, I know I am making the right decision to run for this seat. However, I cannot do this alone.
I'll be straight with you – I am behind financially. My opponents are self-funding millionaires or have spent years building up their campaign war chests, but I'm new to politics.
Thank you for everything you did for Lindsey over the years. I know that having people like you in his corner meant everything to him.
God bless,
Darline Graham
P.S. It's been a difficult week. I never thought I'd be in this position, but I am ready to answer the call from President Trump. I am ready to run. Are you with me?
