Hello, John. It's Monday, July 27, and we are exactly 9️⃣9️⃣ days from Election Day, November 3! This is our year to flip seats, but we can’t win without YOU.
Here’s your TO DO LIST 📋:
1. With 150 Democrats on the ballot, make sure you know who will be on YOURS [[link removed]] .
2. Volunteer for a candidate! [[link removed]] Commit to take action once each month .
3. Become a D.E.M. Club member. [[link removed]] Your $26 monthly contribution fuels voter turnout statewide.
👢 ANOTHER REPUBLICAN BEHAVING BADLY
Republican State Representative Danny Williams is under investigation. His “inappropriate” behavior with a staffer (or more than one!) and “misuse” of state resources has already gotten him booted from his State Capitol office and the legislative committees he was assigned.

Now, it’s time to boot him from House District 28. Our candidate, Blake Cummings [[link removed]] , is an experienced, trustworthy leader who is ready to win in November. Would you chip in to help us alert voters [[link removed]?] in the district with targeted ads and volunteer door knockers?
❓ STATE QUESTIONS ON AUGUST 25th
Republicans put two terrible State Questions on a low-turnout ballot on August 25th. Make your plan to vote and be sure your friends are prepared, too. Here’s your primer: Just vote ❌NO❌!
* SQ846 - VOTER ID - Adds ID requirements for voting to the State Constitution with the caveat that legislators will determine what that means exactly. * Oklahoma ALREADY requires IDs to vote and we have some of the most secure elections in the country. This question opens the door for SAVE Act-style ID restrictions and big changes to mailed ballots, meaning lots of voters could be disenfranchised.

* SQ844 - AD VALOREM REIMBURSEMENTS - Gives the State the option to not re-pay Counties for lost property tax due to exemptions for manufacturers. * Currently, manufacturing companies can get a 5-year exemption on their property taxes (that fund local schools, roads, & libraries) and the State is required to reimburse the Counties. But, we haven’t had enough revenue to fulfill the requirement. This question gives the legislature the power to change the reimbursement amount.

🌞 BEAT THE HEAT
Democrats across the state were on the move despite the heat over the weekend. From community-building to door-knocking, we reached thousands of voters together.

Let’s keep it going all the way to November!
See you out there,
Erin
