Hi John --

NEWSFLASH: Open primaries supporters really showed up and pitched in and we were able to successfully raise $59,000 over the weekend. Bringing our total from $254,000 to $313,000 of our $500K goal.

SO: With this momentum we’re extending our fundraising deadline to Wednesday night (7/29) at midnight.

If you haven’t pitched in yet, please consider making a tax deductible donation TODAY to help us reach our fundraising goal and have the necessary funds we need to finish out 2026 strong.

PS–If you haven’t seen the latest news coverage: Open Primaries President John Opdycke talked with Major Garrett of CBS News <[link removed]>, Meet the Press <[link removed]>and Chuck Todd from the The Chuck ToddCast <[link removed]>, OP SVP Jeremy Gruber went back and forth with host Errol Louis on NY 1 <[link removed]> over the central question at the heart of the debate: is this really an issue about political parties and their nomination processes, or is it a voting rights issue? And Open Primaries Board Member Dr. Jessie Fields places the Open Primaries debate squarely in the history of the voting rights movement In the New York Daily News <[link removed]>,

We’re shaping the national narrative. Now we have to capitalize on all these new opportunities.
