This is the last day of our pre-election Summer Fundraising Campaign.

So much depends on the next few hours. Either we'll reach our goal and
can fully fund our coverage of the final two months of the presidential
election, or we'll fall short and be forced to cut back at the worst
possible time.

To avoid that outcome, we need to raise $16,000 more by the end of the

simply can't afford to now. But this is the most dangerous election that
we've ever covered, and we simply cannot continue bringing you the news
