Today is our chance.

John,

The special session in Wisconsin to address gun violence and police brutality starts in less than two hours. We need to ensure Wisconsin leaders take action and invest in our communities — for Jacob Blake and the countless others killed at the hands of the state and police.

Can we count on you to add your name and demand Wisconsin leaders address gun violence and police brutality?

This is our chance to address police violence in Wisconsin by investing in violence prevention programs, education funding, and gun violence prevention.

But John — we can't let our guard down.

In 2019, Gov. Evers called a special legislative session to address gun violence. But the majority leaders gaveled the session in and out with no debate and no votes.

We can't let this happen again.

Join our “Invest in Us” coalition and demand Wisconsin leaders step up at the special session today.

By adding your name, you'll join Color of Change and others in the movement demanding Wisconsin lawmakers "Invest in Us" by putting forward legislation that defends Black lives and invests in Black futures. United as one, we will honor with action for Jacob Blake.
