Meet my opponent, Scott Desjarlais.
He’s “represented” Tennessee’s 4th Congressional District since 2011. That’s fourteen years of paychecks funded by your tax dollars and fourteen years of votes cast in Americans’ names.
So here’s the question: what has he actually done for us? Is your rent more affordable? Are groceries easier to manage? Is healthcare less of a financial nightmare? Do you feel like your kids have a real shot at a better life than you had?
Or… does it feel like no matter how hard you work, you just can’t get ahead?

From January 2011 to April 2026, DesJarlais missed 440 out of 9,055 roll call votes, a rate of 4.9%, bringing him to more than double the median of missed votes among representatives right now. When he did bother to show up, he introduced the fewest bills of anyone in the entire Tennessee delegation, and in terms of bills he sponsored actually being signed into law? The number is effectively zero considering their effect.
Fourteen years. Zero laws to show for it.

He shows up for the donors and lobbyists. He shows up when the cameras are on and the right people are watching, but when Americans under his wing are drowning?Silence.

I know what it means to fight for something real and I know that Tennessee’s 4th District deserves a representative who actually fights for them.
