Friend --
We’re facing a critical fundraising deadline at midnight tonight. With just 64 days until the election, we can’t afford to fall short if we want to elect Democrats up and down the ballot in November.
As fundraising director, it’s my job to build the resources needed to sustain key programs that will bring Democrats to victory. I hope you’ll let me explain where your hard-earned dollars go when you donate:
- Voter Protection Unit: Every South Carolina voter has the right to safely cast their ballot with the confidence that it will count. Our team spent this past Weekend of Action recruiting poll watchers to protect voter’s rights during in-person voting. In the weeks ahead, we will continue pushing our state’s courts and legislature to expand the definition of absentee balloting to include COVID-19.
- All In for SC Coordinated Campaign: We’re fighting for every single vote needed to elect Joe Biden, Jaime Harrison, and Democrats up and down the ticket. With in-person canvassing off the table, we’re doubling down on virtual phonebanks and other efforts to register and mobilize voters across the state.
These voter protection and mobilization programs will make all the difference in November -- but only if they’re fully funded through Election Day. Can you pitch in $10, $25, or $50 before tonight’s midnight deadline to keep these programs going strong?
We can’t afford to take our foot off the gas when the election is this close and the stakes are so high. Donations to emails like this one power our fight to elect Democrats up and down the ballot. Anything you’re able to invest before our midnight deadline will have a direct impact.
