Reports about ICE activity have raised serious questions, but this administration refuses to provide clear answers to the public or to Congress.
That's unacceptable.
If the federal government is carrying out enforcement actions in our communities, the American people deserve transparency. We deserve facts. We deserve accountability.
Instead, this administration has chosen secrecy over honesty.
That's why winning back the House this November is so important.
A Democratic majority can hold hearings, issue subpoenas, demand documents, and finally get the straight answers this administration refuses to provide.
We cannot allow abuse of power to go unchecked simply because Republicans would rather protect Donald Trump than protect the public's right to know.
