Those of you who know me know I was recruited into the CIA, served three tours in Iraq alongside the U.S. military, went on to serve under Presidents of both parties in the White House, and then at the Pentagon.
I am not prone to hyperbole.
But what we are seeing right now from the President of the United States is an authoritarian playbook I have seen many times abroad.
This is something we all need to be clear-eyed about heading into this election. This is something we need to speak out about and spread the word about before it happens.
