My opponent, Tommy Tuberville, just went on national TV and said that President Barack Obama and Dr. Fauci should be thrown in jail.

“He’s a crook. Obama is a crook. All these people broke the law. Let’s put them in jail.”

I suppose that’s what “Coach” has decided he wants to focus on.

Not the cost of groceries. Not rural hospitals across Alabama closing their doors. Not whether working people can find a good‑paying job or make ends meet. He’d rather spend his time on television pushing baseless conspiracy theories and calling just about everybody he disagrees with a crook or a communist.

For too long, Alabama has suffered under politicians who have become embarrassments to our state and cast a shadow on the good people of Alabama.

It’s time for a change. Alabama deserves a governor who will govern for all Alabamians and fight for every community in this state.
