Yesterday the Republican-controlled House voted to END Trump’s illegal, reckless war with Iran — passing a war powers resolution authored by Democrats.

This was the first major rebuke of Trump’s war by Congress since the ceasefire fell apart. And it’s a major sign that Republicans are recognizing how much of a disaster the war has been.

Let’s take a look at the numbers:

* 18 American servicemembers have been killed – hundreds more injured
* Tens of billions of taxpayer dollars have been spent, with no end in sight
* Oil is above $100 a barrel and and gas prices are above $4.10 a gallon
* And 70% of Americans say the war isn’t worth fighting – including HALF of Trump’s own supporters

Trump’s war with Iran has been an utter failure – and it MUST be brought to an end. The American people are sick and tired of their tax dollars being spent waging wars halfway around the world.
