The reason why I am asking you to contribute $3.50 today is because we are just about to lock in our budget plans for the next fiscal year.

And the number of individual contributions we receive between now and tomorrow's deadline at midnight will be an important indication of what we can accomplish when we come together.

That means the short time ahead of us is enormously important for the future of our campaigns and programs.

We are fighting to save our planet — that is why we are organizing for a Just Recovery and a Green New Deal.

We are fighting to end the age of fossil fuels — that is why we are working to accelerate the transition to a new, just, clean energy economy by supporting community-led energy solutions.

We are fighting for climate justice — that is why we are organizing to create a system that simultaneously deals with the racial, economic, social, and environmental crises around the globe.

And it starts with having the budget to achieve our bold programs and campaigns.
