The Walthamstow Wetlands are just around the corner from Consonant. They are a haven of peace and quiet in the busy city. Join us for a walk around the reservoirs, enjoy the scenery, and see a lot of wildlife.
Our next walk will be from 10am to 12pm on Thursday 12 September. The site will feel very different with summer coming to an end, all the young birds having fledged and summer migrating birds having left – with some winter visitors beginning to arrive. We are hoping that we will be able to get into one or even both of the hides with support from one of the Wetlands volunteers who knows a lot about birds and can give us a ‘guide in the hide’ session.
We will meet at 10am (please be on time) at Consonant office (Berol House, 25 Ashley Road, London, N17 9LJ).
