This weekend reminded me why I love San Diego…
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate San Diego Pride last weekend.
Seeing so many people marching, volunteering, cheering in the streets and celebrating together was a powerful reminder of what makes our community great. I loved celebrating love with all of you.
Every year, Pride reminds us that progress is still possible. That’s especially important as we’re seeing renewed attacks on LGBTQ+ Americans, especially transgender young people and their families across the country.
That’s why I asked supporters to add their names in support of the Equality Act this weekend.

Add your name today if you believe Congress should finally pass the Equality Act and guarantee equal protection for every American.
I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together over the years, but I know we still have work to do.
I’ll keep fighting for equal rights, equal dignity, and equal protection under the law for every American.
