Hard work should be rewarded – and open doors. Every Minnesotan should be able to find a path that leads to a good-paying job, no matter their age or where they live. And anyone who wants to build a career should have a real chance to succeed.

One of the best ways we can do that is by ensuring young people have opportunities to learn by doing, which opens doors to good jobs. That means helping people learn a trade or a new skill, expanding apprenticeships and workforce training, raising academic achievement across Minnesota and expanding pathways that prepare students for the jobs that are in demand.

Minnesotans deserve the chance to succeed. Whether someone chooses an apprenticeship, a technical certificate, a one- to four-year degree program, or something else, there should be a clear path to opportunity.

If I have the privilege of serving as your Governor, I'll be laser-focused on strengthening Minnesota’s economy and ensuring Minnesotans have the support and opportunity to build a good life.
