The other day, my campaign manager Andrew emailed you about our big end-of-month fundraising goal. But before I ask you to chip in to help us reach it, I wanted you to hear from me directly about why this one is so important:

→ This race couldn’t be any closer. The latest polls show me neck and neck with my opponent, and The Cook Political Report just rated our race a “toss-up.”

→ National Republicans see this as a top pick-up opportunity. The other night, my opponent spoke at the Republican National Convention -- the biggest national platform they could give him -- to appeal to their massive donor base.

→ They’re pulling out all the stops to defeat me. Just this month, one of the biggest DC-based super PACs announced they’re going to spend over $3 million against me, so we can expect a ton of misleading TV ads that distort my record in Congress coming down the pipeline soon.

In 2018, we sent a message that Utahns -- not outside special interest groups with large checks -- will decide who holds this seat. And we did it with a grassroots movement powered by supporters like you.

The bottom line is, I need your support once again to win this race and keep up the fight for Utahns.
