Friend,

Happy Labor Day!

As summer comes to a close, I hope you’re spending this day relaxing with
friends and family, celebrating the hard-working Hoosiers in your life.

I wanted to reach out and let you know how proud I am of Hoosiers who are
working hard all across Indiana. Putting People First is always our mission,
and I’m thankful you’ve trusted me to work positively to impact real lives
throughout our state.

Indiana’s economy is historically strong, our state unemployment rate sits
below the national average, and we’re attracting record numbers of high-wage,
in-demand job commitments every day.

I’m grateful to have played a part in our surging economy, but it’s Hoosiers
across our state who are truly responsible. We’re making historic investments
in workforce development and job training, and helping our students gain the
21st century skills they need to land high-wage, high-demand jobs and grow
their careers in any direction they choose.

Hoosiers have taken full advantage of these opportunities - that’s why
Indiana’s growth is so strong.

This Labor Day, I just want to say thank you for making Indiana proud and
keeping our economy strong. If you’re proud of what Hoosiers are accomplishing
together, check out our Labor Day video and SHARE it with your friends and
family on Facebook. <[link removed]>

Thank you,
