Friend, as we face our August fundraising deadline tomorrow, I want you to keep two things in mind:

This race is winnable. The latest polls have us trailing Mitch ever so slightly, even after months and months of attacks. We’re neck and neck with just two months to go. Kentucky is ready for change.

But this race can and will change on a dime—just like pretty much everything else this year. That means none of us can afford to let up, even for a minute. Mitch McConnell enjoys every advantage that comes along with being a 36-year incumbent. And he’s got some powerful friends in D.C. who will stop at nothing to help him hold on to this seat.

So, yes, tell everyone: We can absolutely win this thing. But if we come up short, it’ll be because not enough of us stepped up at moments like this one.
