Hello Friend,

This Labor Day weekend, we are asking you to join us in the streets next weekend to continue the fight for worker justice in the District. This past July the DC minimum wage for hourly worker went up to $14.00 and the tipped minimum wage increased to $4.45. This is an amazing gain for workers but the fight isn't over. We need to make sure workers know how to protect themselves from wage theft and ensure they receive the new minimum wage as well as overtime pay, paid sick days, and (starting next year) paid family leave. Can you join us?

Worker rights outreach is easy! We will have a short training at the start of the canvass and then get you set up with a partner and pamphlets to hand out to workers. Looking forward to hitting the streets with you!
