A new article has unearthed allegations of, "inappropriate behavior," by Rep. Danny Williams. After staff at the State Capitol spoke out, the Majority brought in an outside firm to conduct an HR investigation. And it seems like they found more than they were looking for...

Since then, Williams has been booted out of his office three doors down from the Speaker and kicked up to the fifth floor office. And, “Rep. Williams has been relieved of his legislative assistant privilege.”  This is a drastic step in the House which only runs because of the hard work of the LAs. 

Luckily, residents of House District 28 don't have to be stuck with a scandal-ridden legislator with a hobbled office. Blake Cummings is the first Democrat to run for this seat in 6 years. As part of the largest class of Democrats to run for state office in 8 years, Blake gives residents of HD 28 the choice to pick a trustworthy leader.

He's a Native American who spent his career in energy and telecommunications. He's  focused on the needs of his district, not his own defense.

He'll fight for better schools and better access to healthcare instead of fighting the case. He stands ready to fill this seat and serve the district with integrity.
