John,
You may have seen that last month, in a 6-3 decision, the MAGA Supreme Court justices sided against trans kids — ruling that states can ban them from playing on teams that align with their gender.
But there's a loophole: The decision only permits bans. It does not REQUIRE them, nor did it touch school and state policies that are inclusive to trans student athletes.
This is where Victory Fund's work matters. Because we specifically focus on electing openly LGBTQ+ candidates to state and local office… like school boards and state legislatures, where inclusive policies can be set.
It's a pretty simple theory of change, and one we believe in.
We don't have to let this MAGA Court decision stand. If you want to stop discrimination against trans students, pitch in $10.00 or more to help elect openly LGBTQ+ candidates to school boards, state legislatures, and other elected offices that can promote inclusive policies. [[link removed]]

This decision is disappointing — especially when MAGA has targeted and vilified transgender kids. These kids don't need Supreme Court justices condoning further bullying.
But our movement has turned around losses before. We were consistently losing marriage equality when voters had it on their ballots (remember Prop 8 in California?).
But then 2012 came. We saw voters in Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, and Washington all affirm the freedom to marry. And three years later, the Supreme Court did, too.
This loss hurts. But it is not the end unless we allow it to be.
So if you're ready to fight like hell for kids to have the freedom to play with their friends, free from discrimination, then pitch in $10.00 to elect candidates who will get the job done. [[link removed]]
