I wrote to Anthony Albanese and asked him to do one simple thing.

Listen to our veterans.

I asked him to reconsider his plan to cap veterans' healthcare.
To stop and think about the people who would be forced to fight
for treatment all over again.

He didn't.

Instead, the Prime Minister ignored my letter and pressed on with
a plan that could leave thousands of veterans paying the price.

The Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide called for
barriers to come down, not for new ones to be built.

Yet Anthony Albanese is backing a policy that tells injured
veterans there is a limit to the care they're worth.

That's shameful.

Our veterans didn't ignore Australia when we asked them to serve.

They didn't turn their backs when the country needed them.

So why is this Prime Minister turning his back on them now?
