Notts Pride returns tomorrow with the theme 'Bolder and Brighter', promising the biggest, boldest and brightest celebration of Nottingham’s LGBTQ+ communities yet. The march begins at Listergate at 12pm, heading through the city centre and ending at Sneinton Market.

From 12.45pm the Main Stage at Sneinton Market Square will host a line-up including Twisted Pole, The Harry Styles Show, Nyongbella, Ghetto Fabulous, Lyvia and more! Further entertainment and a range of fringe events and activities will take place across Sneinton Market Avenues, Hockley and the new Rainbow Quarter.

Notts Pride remains completely free to attend, creating a safe and inclusive space where LGBTQ+ communities and allies can celebrate together.

There will be a number of* road closures [ [link removed] ]* in the city centre to facilitate the march, which will also affect *NET Tram [ [link removed] ]* [ [link removed] ], *trentbarton [ [link removed] ] *and *Nottingham City Transport [ [link removed] ] *services.

Join the Lord Mayor of Nottingham for a new civic celebration at Nottingham Castle. The event will showcase some of the Lord Mayor’s key priorities which include celebrating the voluntary sector, promoting the importance of literature and music, and highlighting the city’s legendary rebel Robin Hood.

Entertainment will include live music, a medieval encampment with the chance to meet Robin Hood and his outlaws, have-a-go archery, storytelling, and literature-themed workshops and activities. Visitors will also be able to find out more about volunteering and opportunities to make a difference with charitable and voluntary organisations.

Entry is just £2 per person and tickets must be booked in advance.

Nottingham's biggest Caribbean cultural event returns to Victoria Embankment this August. Within the Carnival Village, you’ll find live performances and DJ sets, mouthwatering Caribbean food, a licensed bar, fairground rides, and good vibes for all ages!

The Carnival Parade will once again feature spectacular costumes and choreography, and is free to watch at any point along the route.

Earlybird tickets are still available (at last year's prices) for entry to the Carnival Village - book by Friday 31 July to take advantage before prices increase.

The immersive experiences Beyond Monet and Beyond Van Gogh are now open! For the first time, Motorpoint Arena has been transformed into an impressive 10,000 square foot exhibition space, bringing the iconic artists' work to life in mesmerising and moving fashion.

Cutting-edge technology transforms hundreds of works by the legendary French impressionist painters, bringing together lesser known canvases with some of their most famous paintings, including "Poppies, Water Lillies, The Starry Night, Sunflowers" and "Terrace of a Café at Night".

Nottingham City residents can receive a 10% discount by entering their council tax number and postcode (available on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday timeslots only).

Fyfe Dangerfield plays a unique outdoor gig at Sneinton Market Avenues, presented by Folkroom and The Grove. Fyfe Dangerfield is perhaps best known as the frontman and chief songwriter of cinematic pop band Guillemots, whose debut 2006 album "Through the Windowpane" was shortlisted for the Mercury Music Prize.

His music remains lush and ambitious, overflowing with the grandeur that made Guillemots' music so beguiling upon its debut 20 years ago. Food will be available from Forager's Kitchen, alongside a well-stocked bar.
