Donald Trump has done more to cause pain for immigrants than any president in recent memory.

Despite his record of human rights violations, he had no shame using the White House as a backdrop for a naturalization ceremony for new citizens.

It’s bad enough that Donald Trump is deploying secret police, openly undermining our democracy, bragging about an economy with tens of millions out of work, and telling lies about COVID-19.

Now we have to listen to him lying about it at the RNC and it’s all being paid for with our taxpayer dollars!

It wasn’t just Trump using taxpayer dollars to lie to the American people — Secretary Mike Pompeo made sure to get in on the action as well. Pompeo decided to break the law by speaking to the Republican National Convention while on official business overseas.

This is a clear violation of the Hatch Act — which prohibits federal employees from taking part in political activities on official duty.

To summarize the situation, we’ve seen the Trump administration break the law on national television at the Republican National Convention. If this is what they will do in plain sight, imagine what will happen if they get another term? We can’t afford to find out.
