When I moved to Tennessee, I didn’t have a clear idea of what was next.
This community gave me room to work and learn, to build a life step by step. That opportunity changed everything for me, and it’s the reason I believe so deeply that America should still be a place where people can start with little and still move forward.

Opportunities don’t vanish overnight. We’ve watched it be chipped away when healthcare gets harder to access. It has deteriorated time and time again through bills destroying wages and upping costs. The current administration is holding Americans in place, and worse yet this specific seat, held by my opponent Scott Desjarlais, has been completely complicit.

Serving on the Nashville Metro Council since 2023 has only reinforced my beliefs. I see every day how policy choices affect whether families can stay afloat and whether seniors can get care. That’s why I believe in Hometowns over Headlines.

I don’t want leadership that treats Americans’ wellbeing as collateral damage in a political branding exercise, and I don’t want a representative who confuses chaos for strength.
We can do better. We can have leadership that understands what it means to start from nothing and why it matters that the door stays open.
