I know -- the past several months have been some of the most difficult in recent memory.

I've talked to frontline workers who are putting their lives on the line to keep our communities healthy. I've talked to New Jersey small business owners who are figuring out how to keep their doors open. And I've spoken to families that are grappling with lost jobs, school closures, police violence, and sick loved ones. (Trust me -- as a mom of four, I understand firsthand the struggle of moving the classroom into the home.)

I find comfort in knowing this: New Jersey is strong, and this grassroots team has risen to difficult challenges before.

We'll get through this -- together.

I know because I've seen it before. In 2018, our team helped us pull off one of the biggest swings from red to blue in the nation. And since then, we've taken strides to repeal the SALT deduction cap, make progress on the Gateway Tunnel project, address gun violence, and improve access to health care.

But that's the catch -- we need to do it together. Each and everyone of us has to stay focused, active, and engaged. So if you're able to make a contribution, please consider chipping in before the end-of-month deadline tomorrow. I'll personally make sure your contribution is matched.
